                                              MUSIC TEACHERS - New to festival?

NFMC Junior Festivals  are sponsored by the Florida Federation of Music Clubs.
  Participation in NFMC Festivals promotes music study, stimulates interest in the musical literature and encourages each participant to reach a high standard of musical achievement.  See NFMC website:  link

The NFMC Federation Cup Award Plan and Honor Certificates offer additional incentives to encourage continued participation in NFMC Festivals. 

NFMC Festivals are held in February throughout Florida.
Performers
receive a yearly evaluation in a non-competitive environment. 
They do not compete against each other, but are rated on individual merit.
The feedback and suggestions from the judges are invaluable.

Early Fall is the time to begin preparing students for FESTIVAL.
 
Music must be selected from the "NFMC Festivals Bulletin"  
The NFMC Festivals Bulletin lists qualifying repertoire and rules.

Participation in an NFMC FESTIVAL is one of the many
benefits of membership in the National Federation of Music Clubs.

MEMBERSHIP DEADLINES APPLY - JOIN BY NOVEMBER 1


Festival Eligibility
 
Each teacher joins as a "senior member"
Each student joins as a "junior member"
.
$50 minimum for up to 16 juniors ($2 each additional name)
  Dues includes a subscription to the NFMC publication Junior Keynotes.
Mail in your roster and dues with FFMC Junior Club Bill:   download.
Become a "club counselor" and enroll your young musicians today.
Studios have a multi-counselor option.

Your local senior club will offer networking support.
 Check your district page on the FFMC website to locate a nearby senior club.
Alternatively, you can pay $50 to join as a senior individual member.
Your senior dues includes Music Clubs Magazine. 

Festival fees vary by location.  Contact your festival chair for details.
Festival applications and fees are due in early December. 
Note:  Teachers serve as volunteers to help with festival.
